More on the new events

We devoted most Thursday mornings during 2020 to Aerospace UP Hour, which brought our community together regularly during months of huge uncertainty caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. For 2021 we're making some changes.

  • Aerospace UP hour will continue on some Thursday mornings, focused on the Aerospace UP programme for Midlands aerospace suppliers, and all things innovation, technology, R&D funding, the University of Nottingham (and other universities), the Manufacturing Technology Centre (and other Catapult Centres). Aerospace UP hour will continue to be free and welcome all participants.

  • Meanwhile, new MAA Members Meetings, in the same slot other weeks, will focus on all the business requirements of MAA members. Aerospace UP Hour's regular update on world, UK and regional aerospace industry news and forecasts, and its invitations to VIP guests from industry, will migrate across to the MAA Members Meetings.

  • Oh, and a regular Additive Hour on Tuesday mornings will continue the good work started on the DRAMA additive manufacturing programme which finished in January.

We look forward to seeing you there!

Come along with your coffee! Arrive five minutes early if you can -- like a "real" meeting -- to help us start on time. In fact, feel free to join from 11:15 onwards to say hello.

You’ll be able to send us your questions and comments and network with other participants during the meeting.
We often stay behind for 15 minutes more discussion and networking, just like a normal meeting -- all are welcome!
