At the MAA members meeting on 4 February it became clear just how much disruption MAA members are currently experiencing when it comes to importing and exporting.

So we've set up this special meeting to:

  • exchange experiences and learn from each other

  • see if we can find the right expert advice for you

  • and gather information to feed into our Government contacts

MAKE UK, which the MAA is afiliated to, are kindly supporting this event. They are able to pull together expertise and experience from across the manufacturing sector and channel issues to government directly. In addition, later this week the MAA has an upcoming meeting with regional MPs and stakeholders who we will also inform. 

Agenda

  • The key findings/themes/issues MAKE UK has reported so far, and MAKE UK’s current recommendations to government, with Chris Corkan, Make UK's Regional Membership Manager – Midlands & East of England

  • Review of issues that arose at 4 February MAA members meeting, with Andrew Mair, Chief Executive, MAA

  • Open discussion to identify key shared issues, planning way forward

You’ll be able to send us your questions and comments and network with other participants during the meeting.
We often stay behind for 15 minutes more discussion and networking, just like a normal meeting -- all are welcome!
