Broadway Group acquires General Engineering (Treatments) Limited (GET)

Broadway Group today announced it has acquired GET, a specialist provider of surface treatments based in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. GET will trade as Broadway GET, expanding the Group’s capability beyond precision machining to offer customers a more integrated manufacturing solution.

The acquisition brings together Broadway Engineering and Broadway AVPE (formerly known as AVPE Systems) aerospace precision machining operations with Broadway GET treatments and verification capabilities, creating an end-to-end proposition from machining through to finishing, inspection and testing. The Group expects the move to strengthen delivery performance, improve process control and increase responsiveness for customers operating complex supply chains.
