Midlands Aerospace Alliance - Rate, risk and resilience in the aerospace supply chain: how can we do better?

The aerospace industry continues to face some serious challenges related to increasing production rates, supply chain bottlenecks and resource constraints, resilience and risk management. How can we in the Midlands work together collaboratively to work through some of these questions and make our supply chains perform more efficiently?

This was a major theme at the March 2025 MAA Annual Conference.
In May 2025, the MAA and the AGP Manufacturing Supply Chain Working Group held a joint roundtable discussion, also at Gowling in Birmingham.
We presented some of the findings at the MAA AGM in November 2025 held at Space Park Leicester.
The MAA Board and MAA Supply Chain Performance Group have endorsed continuing our work to understand the real issues and come up with plans to address them.

This session will gather new intelligence from participating MAA members to ensure we have a comprehensive understanding from all viewpoints. It will also set out how the MAA plans to work through the issues with all tiers of the supply chain in the Midlands and how you can get involved.
