Are you a Leicestershire based SME with an innovative project idea that could be relevant for the Aerospace sector? Aerospace Unlocking Potential (Aerospace UP) is a £20M three-year project (2020 to 2022) which aims to support the aerospace supply chain in the Midlands by helping to unlock its innovation potential. The project is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund and delivered by the University of Nottingham and the Midlands Aerospace Alliance.

As part of the Aerospace UP program, we are looking to develop a Peer-to-Peer networking cluster group in Leicester and Leicestershire. Join this meeting to find out more if you are an SME in the Leicester/Leicestershire area.

These sessions have been piloted in the Black Country and Coventry and Warwickshire LEP regions and have enabled companies to benefit from working together, sharing knowledge, and developing their own businesses through the network. The pilot has been very successful, and many organisations have already benefitted from taking part.

Annette Rothwell from the Midlands Aerospace Alliance will facilitate the meeting, which will give participants a taster of the planned virtual cluster group sessions, taking place once a month over a 9-month period with peer group companies.

This is a great opportunity to swap ideas, share common issues and explore solutions with other SME companies in the region and we welcome SME companies from the Leicester and Leicestershire areas to come along and see how peer networking can help you grow your business.
