Are you a Leicestershire based SME with an innovative project idea that could be relevant for the Aerospace sector? Aerospace Unlocking Potential (Aerospace UP) is a £20M three-year project (2020 to 2022) which aims to support the aerospace supply chain in the Midlands by helping to unlock its innovation potential. The project is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund and delivered by the University of Nottingham and the Midlands Aerospace Alliance.

We welcome you to join us to hear how SME’s based in Leicestershire can access grant funding and specialist support for new and innovative projects relevant to the Aerospace sector.

Your company could be eligible for a grant of between £1,000 and £100,000, alongside fully-funded technical support packages; access to expert and academic guidance, events and workshops, as well as student and graduate support opportunities.

Agenda

Aerospace UP is offering you the chance to be part of this half-day event as part of the Leicester Business Festival, where we will face the challenge of change head on. You only have to turn on the news to see how businesses are faced with new and pressing challenges post the pandemic. Yet there are opportunities to be explored as we evolve and adapt to these challenges. This event, taking place in the brand-new Leicester Space Park, aims to bring together the support that is available to Leicestershire businesses to navigate this new landscape, and for you to feedback how as a programme, we can support you going forward. There is fantastic innovation currently ongoing in the aerospace sector, particularly in the Midlands, and we can be optimistic for the future of the aerospace industry and its supply chains.
