Work is well under way on Moog Aircraft Group's new facilities at the prestigious i54 development site near Wolverhampton. Moog Business Leader Stuart Mclachlan, who is also a Midlands Aerospace Alliance director, says: "this is a key strategic move for Moog, and when completed this world class facility will allow the business to support and grow our market leading position in actuation systems.”
Big global aircraft programmes Moog in Wolverhampton is contributing its flight control technologies to include Boeing's 787 and China's COMAC C919.
Moog is moving into the new facilities from its current location, the nearby former Boulton Paul factory.
