Vibration measurement and analysis of extremely small and lightweight systems that would be impossible with traditional accelerometer based techniques is handled well by the non-contact laser Doppler vibrometers at ASDEC, as demonstrated in a recent piece of work with the Space Research Centre at the University of Leicester.
